Siine Ltd

Barcelona & London
07/2010 - 12/2011

Head of Engineering

Siine is one of the most exciting projects currently under development in the technological innovation space. With its core focus on communications interface design, the team at Siine has created a whole new paradigm for communication and text input on touchscreen devices. Siine is revolutionizing text-based communication, radically improving the texting process for social, IM, gaming and business communication.

Being with Siine from day zero I was responsible for designing the user interface and building early prototypes of Siine Writer. Other tasks involved talent scouting and recruitment of new team members as well as negotiations with potential business partners and investors. With a growing team I naturally took over the team lead and project management. Succeeding this role I decided to hand over the project management to fully focus on engineering again in order to push forward the development of the core technology by leading the technical team and training and integrating new team members.
